Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly preparing for the departure of Xabi Alonso at the end of the season, with Manchester City among those eyeing the talented manager.
Alonso is coveted as one of Europe's most promising coaches and was touted as a potential replacement for Jurgen Klopp when the German left the job last season.
However, after guiding Leverkusen to an undefeated Bundesliga victory, he decided to stay at the BayArena for another season to hone his managerial skills.
