Thierry Henry sparked football fans on social networks, seeming to “assess” Erling Haaland after giving a scathing evaluation by Man City striker. Haaland scored the only goal of his team during his heartbreaking 5-1 defeat against Arsenal to the Emirates, but otherwise suffered a difficult afternoon.
The Norwegian striker only touched the ball six times in the first half and failed to gather efforts to the goal.
And despite his second half's header, which briefly made 1-1, the Sky Sports Henry expert took place about the star's lack of application.
“I could not have faced (with the lack of service); something would have happened,” he said. “I would have gone to recover it, touch it, do something.
“It is a skill, David Trezeguet had that even if he did not touch the ball, he could remain concentrated and put the ball in the net. What can you do when your team cannot help you? -You run in the channels?
“But you don't move so much when your team is on the ball or take care of the ball. This is not enough, but it will mark when it will play like that, and it has done it.”
