Rasmus Hojlund brutally mocked Kyle Walker after their fiery clash during Manchester United's dramatic derby win over Manchester City. The duo clashed in the first half, with Manchester City defender Walker attempting to cause trouble for Hojlund by falling to the turf.

Hojlund was furious with the City player's challenge, angrily confronting him before they clashed. Walker tried to persuade referee Anthony Taylor that he had been headbutted by the Red Devils striker, falling to the ground and holding his face in an incident described as “embarrassing” by United icons Roy Keane and Gary Neville.

United then won 2-1 thanks to last minute goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo. Their incredible victory allowed Hojlund to have the last laugh.

The Denmark international shared an image on Instagram of him and Walker clashing, before the City star collapsed. The United star cleverly wrote in the caption: “Manchester is red, violets are blue, what a brilliant performance, but the Oscar goes to…”

Hojlund was replaced by Ruben Amorim before United sparked their incredible comeback. Amad won the penalty from which Fernandes scored and the 22-year-old then looped sensationally past goalkeeper Ederson before converting from a tight angle.

The furious clash between Hojlund and Walker sparked much debate. Former United midfielder Roy Keane has branded City's stand-in captain “embarrassing”. He said on Sky Sports: “It's a foul, Hojlund is not happy, that's good. But Walker… Walker must be embarrassed. He must be embarrassed to go down like that. There is no no contact, I'm embarrassed.

“I don’t know the guy. [but] I'm embarrassed for him.”

Speaking in the comments, Neville added: “It's poor from Kyle Walker because [under] at first contact, it does not go down. He goes downstairs when he realizes there may have been contact. He'll be a little embarrassed when he sees this.”

United boss Amorim, who made the bold decision to leave Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of his squad, secured his first major victory since his appointment a month ago. The Portuguese coach said afterwards: “We felt like we were about to score. The speed of our races, we had some opportunities with that. We controlled [Erling] Haaland and the other offensive guys.

“When we scored first, you could feel it in the team. They wanted more. Congratulations to the guys.
