Pep Guardiola and Cristina Serra are reportedly breaking up
Pep Guardiola has reportedly separated from his wife after 30 years together. Despite his desire to return Manchester City to form, it appears he has parted ways with long-term partner Cristina Serra off the pitch.
The Sunday Mirror reported in 2019 that Serra had moved to Barcelona with one of their three children, and now, more than five years later, reports from Spain suggest the couple have split. Despite the split, Guardiola and Serra are said to be on good terms.
They were reportedly spotted together at a theater over Christmas with one of their daughters. The two first met in 1994, when Guardiola was playing for Barcelona, ββbut they only married in 2014 in a private ceremony.
They share three children: daughters Maria and Valentina and son Marius. Since Serra's return to Barcelona in 2019, the couple have mainly lived apart, with Guardiola remaining in Manchester while his wife moved between Spain and the UK.

However, they continued to be seen together on numerous occasions. The news comes amid a resurgence in performances from City, who have won their last three matches in all competitions after a dismal run which saw their hopes of retaining the title dashed.
City could face the second half of the season without their stalwart defender Kyle Walker, who has signaled his intention to leave the Etihad.
Milan's two giants, AC and Inter, are said to be keen on the England right-back, with rumors also suggesting a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia could be on the cards.
Guardiola, when asked about Walker's future at City, admitted his uncertainty: “I don't know. It depends on how we are going to train. It depends on him.

“The situation is different now, but the transfer window will end when it ends and I don't know what will happen.
“I told Kyle it's now a matter of the market. He's an incredible player, with an incredible physique and when he's focused he's unstoppable as a right-back.
“He is a top player. If he is fit, he can play another one, two, three or four years as a professional. I have never seen a player with these physical conditions in my career.
“If he wants to consider moving away, the club will explore, and he must decide, not me. It's not my decision. But he must have an agreement with the club.”
