Match of the Day viewers were in for a nasty surprise when they tuned into BBC One to find a late showing of News at Ten tonight (Saturday). The final night of the BBC Proms forced the channel to scrap its original schedule and move its flagship football programme to a later time slot.
Another fantastic day of Premier League action will have fans excited, with Gary Lineker and his panel of pundits set to bring viewers all the highlights.
However, the final night of this year's BBC Proms, an eight-week series of classical music concerts, ran longer than expected, so watching Match of the Day at 10.30pm (London time) may have left viewers perplexed.
