Amad has been one of the stars of the season at Man Utd.
Amad produced his latest heroics for Manchester United to claim an incredible derby victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. And the red-hot winger showed his true colors moments with his actions after the final whistle in wild celebrations on the pitch and in a rapturous away match.
United were in danger of a third successive Premier League defeat for the first time in almost a decade after Josko Gvardiol's first-half header.
But Ruben Amorim's side remained competitive throughout the 195th Manchester derby and found their reward in death.
Amad cleverly fouled in the box to win a penalty, which Bruno Fernandes coolly converted, seemingly earning United a point.
But the 22-year-old's acceleration and quickness saw him latch onto a long ball from Lisandro Martinez two minutes later, round Ederson and score a winner in stoppage time.
After full-time, uncontrolled jubilation broke out outside as United's staff and players absorbed their monumental triumph on the pitch.
However, Amad took the time to shake hands and console all of the City players, proving that his class was not up for debate anyway.
Before receiving the Player of the Match award during his post-match interview, the Ivorian starlet demonstrated yet another display of humility.
Man Utd scored two late goals to beat Man City.
“We wanted to win this game. It wasn't easy. In the second half we pressed well, we wanted to win and we showed today that we can win any game,” Amad told Sky Sports .
“I want to thank God for this. Let's enjoy today and look forward to the next game.”
Fernandes stood by his fellow striker and called him “unstoppable” when he was at his best.
He added: “He’s doing well, he’s done great things and he’s got a lot more to come.
“He showed again today that he is still alive. That's why he gets the penalty and why he scores the goal. He was brilliant. When he's like that, he's unstoppable.
“I just want him to keep working. That's what he did. It's great what he did today but I'm sure he can do it every week. We want this week after week he now has his chances, and rightly so.”
Amorim will know the depth of talent he has on his hands with his number 16, but called for calm about his season so far in a level-headed post-match interview.
“He can play in different positions. He is very humble,” Amorim explained.
“We have to be very careful with Amad because sometimes, in our club, we put young players in a privileged place. Let's stay calm with Amad.”
