Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain found themselves embroiled in a Champions League thriller on Wednesday.
Manchester City squandered a 2-0 lead as they suffered a humiliating 4-2 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
City took the lead five minutes into the second half as Jack Grealish sent the ball into the net after coming on at half-time. And the away side doubled their advantage three minutes later as Erling Haaland swept the ball home from close range.
But City were only able to maintain their lead for seven minutes, with strikes from Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola leveling the scores on the hour mark. Joao Neves then scored a third goal for PSG 12 minutes from time. end, Goncalo Ramos adding a fourth at the death. And Express Sport provides Manchester City player ratings from the match.
Ederson: 5
We had to be on our guard from the start to repel an effort from Désiré Doué. But it didn't look convincing in the second half as PSG showed up again and again.
Mathéus Nunes: 3
Little did I know Joao Neves drifted into the box to head an effort at goal early on, with City lucky not to be behind. Ran with the ball as he took responsibility for getting his team moving in the right direction before Haaland's goal. But he dove and was surprised when PSG fought back, then disappeared with a host of his teammates late on.
Akanji Manual: 4
Showed his attacking prowess when he came to the touchline early in the second half before putting the ball into the box for Grealish to give the visitors a boost. But he couldn't hold off PSG's attack as the hosts seemed to score every time they came forward in the second half.
Rubén Dias: 6
Was booked early on and was lucky to escape another booking after catching Doue with his knee later in the first half. Launched a ball over Kevin De Bruyne to create City's first chance of the match. Was removed at the break.

Josko Gvardiol: 5
Cleared the ball off the line with his thigh midway through the first half when PSG thought they had found the opener. He was not present at the races in the second half when his team capitulated.
Mateo Kovacic: 3
He allowed the PSG midfielder to run through him too many times as he struggled to make an impact on the game. Was ineffective and will want to forget the game as soon as he can.
Kevin De Bruyne: 5
Burst to latch onto a long ball from Ruben Dias early on and picked out Haaland with an exquisite pass. He started well but faded as the match progressed and failed to galvanize his teammates.
Savinho: 6
He was lively but should have done better with a big chance just before the break. Substituted at half-time.
Bernardo Silva: 5
Creative with the ball and tried to make things happen. Started Mateo Kovacic from the start and constantly looked to place the ball in dangerous areas in the first half. But his energy level dropped and he couldn't make things happen over time.

Phil Foden: 5
Gave a nice ball to Erling Haaland before teeing up Savinho just before the break. It was quiet for the majority of the match.
Erling Haaland: 6
I should have done better with a header midway through the first half. Was thwarted by Nuno Mendes half an hour into the match after getting into good scoring condition. Eventually his name got on the scoresheet moments after Grealish scored the opener but did little else on a torrid night.
Replacements
Rico Lewis: 3
He replaced Dias at the break. Failed to pick up Dembele in the box for the hosts' first goal of the evening as the France international had plenty of space to score. He also didn't react quickly enough for the second goal after the ball came back off the crossbar.
Jack Grealish: 7
City's night began just minutes after he came on at the break as he gave his side the lead after slotting the ball into the back of the net. Was also involved in the second goal. A much-needed performance for the former Aston Villa man and one that will boost his confidence.
James McAtee: 6
This is not an ideal match for the young star if he wants to showcase his talents in the future.
Ilkay Gundogan: 4
Had limited impact as City failed to stem the flow of PSG attacks.
John Stones: 4
Was introduced into the action seconds before PSG took the lead. Was thrown in at the deep end and failed to meet the challenge.
