Manchester City are reportedly planning a move for Juventus' Andrea Cambiaso as Pep Guardiola prepares for a big-spending January.
City have been ravaged by injuries throughout the 2024/25 campaign and are looking to add bodies to their squad this month.
The Blues appear out of the title race, but Guardiola and co. hope to return to Champions League qualification.
Although they are yet to bring any player through the door, as the January window draws to a close, the Premier League champions appear to be upping the ante.
According to reports in Italy, Cambiaso is the latest player targeted by City as they look to strengthen their ranks this month.
Talks with the Serie A side are reportedly planned, but no official offer has yet been submitted. Juventus are reportedly seeking a fee of around £50million to part ways with the 24-year-old.
He has been a regular in Thiago Motta's side this season, playing 25 times in all competitions for a Juventus side still undefeated in Serie A.
However, Cambiaso was not present during Juventus' 2-0 win at the Allianz Stadium against Guardiola's men last month.

Cambiaso is not the only player linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium in January, with Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis also believed to be City bound.
Marmoush, who has already scored 20 goals this season, is reportedly valued at around £67 million by Eintracht Frankfurt, but City are hoping to pay less for the in-form goalscorer.
On the other side of the pitch, a work permit would delay Khusanov's transfer from Ligue 1 club RC Lens. The Manchester-based side are expected to part with £33.5million to sign the Uzbek international.
