Jack Grealish has urged Manchester City to quickly regain their momentum to save their faltering season.
The team's confidence took another hit on Wednesday after their shocking Champions League defeat in Paris, where they capitulated from a 2-0 lead to a humiliating 4-2 loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Premier League champions now face a fight to qualify for the Champions League knockout stage qualifiers.
The recent run of poor performances extends across all competitions, and with tough matches ahead, including the visit of Chelsea this Saturday, Grealish admits it is time to address the crisis head on.
Frustrated by the team's form, he admitted: “We're gutted. Maybe it's a confidence thing. We haven't had the best of seasons, and we know that.”
Grealish reflected on his difficult times, saying: “This season it's been difficult, and it certainly was in Paris. It's up to us to try and change that. It's difficult and that's never arrived in my team here.
“It’s up to us to get that confidence and swagger back.”

Looking ahead, Grealish identified the crucial upcoming clashes as the ideal way for City to get their campaign back on track, saying: “We have a massive game this weekend against Chelsea in the league and then a must-win game in the week next at the Etihad (against FC Bruges).
“We are going to need the Etihad, as we do on Champions League nights. Next week is like a final for us. We have to win. We will work hard and I hope that We can achieve victories in the next two games.”
