Liverpool star Ibrahima Konate was left shaken on the pitch and in need of treatment following the Reds' emphatic victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo did damage for Arne Slot's side, who maintained their 100% record in this year's league stage.
But it was at the other end that Liverpool looked most comfortable, with Real Madrid failing to register a shot on target from open play until the 93rd minute.
The imperious Konate and his central partner Virgil van Dijk were at the heart of everything positive for Slot's men, who became the second team in eight matches to keep a clean sheet against Los Blancos.
However, ahead of Sunday's potentially decisive clash against champions Manchester City, hopes of securing a similar clean sheet could have been dashed after Konate appeared to pick up a late injury.
The France international stood aside after the full-time whistle on Merseyside, with Liverpool's medical team quickly arriving on the scene to offer assistance.
Konate eventually got back to his feet, but was seen hobbling through the tunnel, clearly looking uncomfortable.

If he is unavailable for Sunday's mammoth clash against the four-time champions, Slot will be forced to change centre-backs for the first time since the season opener.
Konate did not start Liverpool's first game of the campaign against Ipswich Town, but was brought on at half-time by Slot and has been in the starting XI for every game since.
No Premier League team has conceded fewer goals than Liverpool this season, but given the division's top scorer Erlin Haaland is Anfield-bound this weekend, Konate will no doubt do whatever he can get involved.
