It's done. The transfer window in Europe's 'big five' divisions closes tonight, with Premier League clubs scrambling to secure new signings before it closes at 11pm (BST).

Deadline day is always a mad rush to get things done and this summer should be no different. So set up camp here for the day ahead. Express Sport got you covered.

Ben Chilwell's Escape Route

Brentford have made contact with Chelsea to discuss a move for Ben Chilwell, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Blues boss Enzo Maresca has made it clear that Chilwell has no future at Stamford Bridge while he is in charge.

The left-back was offered to Manchester United, but the club opted to pursue other targets.

With little interest from elsewhere, Brentford could have a clear chance of landing Chilwell if they make a decisive move in the coming hours.

Anthony Gordon could be signed by Arsenal

Arsenal have identified Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon as a future target and could make an approach for him next summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Gordon is set to stay at St. James' Park beyond tonight's deadline and the Magpies are attempting to tie him down to a new contract.

But the 23-year-old has admirers in high places, with Liverpool showing interest earlier in the current window.

And now that Arsenal are also in the running, the temptation for Gordon to leave the north-east in the coming years can only increase.

Jadon Sancho twist

Manchester United and Juventus are at a standstill in negotiations for Jadon Sancho, according to Fabrizio Romano, despite reports earlier this week suggesting a deal had been agreed between the Red Devils and the Turin giants.

United's financial demands are said to be too high for Juve, whose directors fear Sancho may want to join Chelsea instead.

Juventus' move for the winger is believed to only be revived today if United are prepared to lower the price for a loan or permanent transfer.

Arsenal sign Premier League captain

Arsenal have completed a loan deal for Bournemouth captain Neto, according to The Athletic.

The Gunners have turned their attention to the 35-year-old goalkeeper after hitting a snag in negotiations with Espanyol for Joan Garcia.

The La Liga side are determined to exploit Garcia's £25million release clause in full, forcing Arsenal to look for other options.

Mikel Arteta needs a new replacement for David Raya as Aaron Ramsdale closes in on a permanent move to Southampton.

And Neto risks being left out of the squad if he stays at Bournemouth, with Kepa Arrizabalaga now on the south coast after his loan from Chelsea.

Osimhen at Chelsea last

The race for Victor Osimhen is down to the last minute.

Paris Saint-Germain are no longer in the running, leaving Chelsea and Al-Ahli to battle it out for the Napoli striker.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea approached Napoli last night with a new proposal for Osimhen, which revolves around a loan deal and an obligation to buy the 25-year-old next summer.

Wage talks are also underway, although the Blues' offer will almost certainly be lower than that of their ultra-rich Saudi rivals.

The situation is tense, but it seems that Osimhen will only travel to the Middle East if negotiations with Chelsea do not bear fruit.

Further updates on this will come later today.
