Kylian Mbappé lives in a huge mansion in Madrid
Kylian Mbappe has splashed out £9million on a lavish Madrid home previously owned by former Real Madrid player Gareth Bale. Nestled in the affluent La Finca neighbourhood, just 8 miles from Madrid's bustling city centre, the opulent residence has become the French striker's new home following his high-profile move to the Galacticos.
The property carries a whopping €11 million (£9 million) price tag, reflecting its grandeur and prime location. It was put on the market in June 2022, as Bale was packing his bags for a life across the pond in the US.
The sprawling estate is nothing short of majestic, with eight bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, expansive terraces, a cinema room, a swimming pool and a six-car garage. But the luxury doesn't stop inside the walls; the estate is a playground for the elite, with a private football pitch, a basketball court and even a golf course that mimics iconic holes from courses around the world, a feature surely appreciated by golf enthusiast Bale during his tenure.
Security is paramount at Mbappe's new facility, which features double perimeter gates, state-of-the-art facial recognition camera systems and an alarm that links directly to the Spanish police. Round-the-clock security patrols, meanwhile, ensure the football star can relax in complete safety, the Mirror reports.
About the residence, luxury real estate experts Realizza said: “This is a new way of life for those who seek above all exclusivity, tranquility, privacy and above all security. This concept is the key to satisfying the needs of a clientele as distinguished as politicians, bullfighters, artists, footballers, great entrepreneurs and families of great social importance who seek discretion and independence.”
It seems that Mbappe has swapped his sprawling €8.5 million Parisian mansion, which boasted impressive views of the Eiffel Tower, for a more secluded compound north of Madrid. Indeed, he is not the only one to have chosen the coveted La Finca neighbourhood; footballing giants such as Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane have also taken up residence there on several occasions.

Mbappe joined Madrid this summer
An aerial view reveals the vastness of Mbappe's new home, which spans 3,000 square metres, while the house covers a remarkable 1,100 square metres. Bale was reportedly hoping to get €13 million for the luxurious home, but it eventually changed hands for €2 million less.
The speedy forward has secured a separate residence at La Finca for his mother and agent, Fayza Lamari, although she offers a considerably smaller home than his own. Mbappe joined Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer after his six-year spell at PSG ended.
During his time in Paris, the star scored a remarkable 256 goals and provided a generous 108 assists for the Ligue 1 champions following his high-profile signing from Monaco for €180m (£151m) as an 18-year-old in 2018.
