Jude Bellingham could pocket a hefty £10million bonus if England manage to overcome Spain in the Euro 2024 final. Having capped off an incredible season with Real Madrid as they emerged victorious in the Champions League and La Liga, the midfield maestro has seamlessly continued his scintillating form with the Spanish giants over the summer, becoming a mainstay for the Three Lions as they aim for glory this Sunday (July 14).

Bellingham's prowess on the pitch has not only earned him trophies but also a surge in popularity, earning him sponsorship deals with big names like Adidas, Lucozade and even high-end fashion brand Louis Vuitton.

At just 21, Bellingham is already one of the world's most sought-after sports figures, with Sheffield Hallam University's Professor Rob Wilson suggesting the Birmingham-born star's financial worth could skyrocket if England win the title in Berlin, the Mirror reports.

Speaking to Saxo, Wilson said: “If we look at the personal brand of someone like Jude Bellingham, he's obviously someone who's had a particularly exceptional season with Real Madrid having won the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid and La Liga.

Wilson added: “If he were to add the European Championship to his roster it would be very lucrative. It will depend partly on his own performances and, despite the first game and his superb overhead kick, he had a fairly quiet tournament. He will have to play particularly well in the final.”

He explained that a player as commercially successful as Bellingham could earn huge sums through his personal brand and potential high-profile sponsorships. “In terms of income, he is already a very well-known athlete, but this would only serve to amplify his own personal brand and make him more attractive to other sponsors and commercial partners.”

Wilson added: “We're probably talking double-digit millions. That's £10m of additional income, just for him personally, in the 12 months following the tournament. Depending on his sporting success, that could continue for many years, but I think a conservative estimate would be a £10m increase in his personal wealth as a result of winning the European Championship.”

The England international, who celebrated his 21st birthday just two weeks ago, is estimated to be worth £39million, with his £11.4million annual salary at Real Madrid a major contributing factor to his personal fortune.

If England beat Spain, they will earn £26 million. If they win, the team will share £9.6 million of the prize money. England players are estimated to receive £2,000 per game, but all winnings since 2007 have been donated to the England Football Foundation for distribution to charity, raising over £5 million in the last 17 years.
