Jude Bellingham has been praised by Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero for his “very polite” behaviour during a chance meeting while he was on holiday. The midfield maestro, who enjoyed a stellar season with Real Madrid, winning both La Liga and the Champions League, is currently resting in the United States after a gruelling but successful campaign.

Bellingham's summer holiday took him to the United States where he was spotted spending time alongside Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, sparking transfer speculation as the defender signed a Real Madrid shirt for a fan amid talk of a move to Spain when his contract at Anfield expires in the summer of 2025.

During his trip to the United States, Bellingham met Aguero by chance in a restaurant, taking the opportunity to take a photo with the retired striker who was with his family. The former striker has 30.8 million followers on Instagram and shared his encounter with his fans, the Mirror reports.

He captioned the photo: “Hi Jude! While we were having dinner, a certain Bellingham came over to say hello. Very polite and nice. An incredible player.” It's not the first time Bellingham's poise and confidence have caught the attention of football's elite; the England prodigy has been turning heads since making his debut for Birmingham City five years ago.

Meanwhile, Liverpool fans continue to grow increasingly concerned amid ongoing speculation over the future of their beloved vice-captain, who is said to have a strong connection with Jude Bellingham – a player once heavily linked with a move to Anfield before his big-money move to Real Madrid.

Reds boss Arne Slot has been bombarded with relentless questions over Alexander-Arnold's situation over the past week, and his latest response has done little to ease the concerns of the Anfield faithful.

“My answer will probably be a bit boring, I think it's the same answer you've heard for the last five, six, seven years,” Slot remarked when asked if the club could tie the full-back down to a new contract. “That contractual situation is not discussed here, but I would say keep trying!”
