Inside Erling Haaland's life with childhood sweetheart, Marbella Pad, £5m car collection

Erling Haaland is already living a life of luxury at Manchester City after becoming one of their highest-earning stars upon his arrival in 2022. But his tempting new contract will ensure the Norwegian rises to the top of the Premier's highest earners League.

The 24-year-old has signed a new 9.5-year deal worth £260 million, with Haaland becoming the first Premier League player to hand over a salary of £500,000 a week or more.

If he sees out his contract at the Etihad Stadium, he will be 34 by the time it expires and will be only behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe in terms of weekly earnings.

The striker is not only focused on his future on the pitch. Haaland and her partner, Isabel Haugseng Johansen, 20, welcomed their first child together in December, which was only revealed after her manager Pep Guardiola let the news slide.

“He became a father for the first time in the last few days, a lot of emotions and an exciting few days for him,” said the Catalan.

However, the new parents are yet to reveal their child's name or gender to the world as they deal with having a family of their own.

Before they began their romantic journey, Haaland and Johansen were childhood friends. They both played for the same football club as children in their native Norway, as Haaland joined FK Bryne at the age of five.

It was there that he met Isabel, where the pair became childhood friends and played for the club's academy before later becoming involved. They reportedly became official after the striker left Red Bull Salzburg to join Borussia Dortmund in 2020.

The couple have been backed to emulate David and Victoria Beckham, who both became global icons when they married in the late 1990s, with a source cited as being close to the couple telling The Sun: 'They will to be a bigger couple than the Beckhams. “

But Johansen prefers to keep a low profile after growing up in a humble environment in Norway. She works part-time in a fashion store and has played soccer at a high level herself.

Although Johansen doesn't want to be in the spotlight like some of his peers, the couple enjoy the same luxuries as any footballer earning millions of pounds each year.

Last summer, Haaland and Isabel were spotted aboard a luxury private yacht in Italy, while the pair often set off on his £6 million pad in Marbella, Spain, which he bought in 2022.

Haaland also has a passion for driving in style. He was one of the lucky few to pre-order the Mercedes AMG-One, which retails for around £2.7 million due to its exclusivity and hypercup configuration.

And he was seen driving a Ferrari Monza SP2, which would raise him around £1.4 million, on the streets of Monaco last year.

As well as his special edition motors, he owns a £300,000 Rolls Royce Cullinan and a Mercedes Gle 63 S 4Matic Coupe, an SUV which costs £153,000.

He has also been spotted driving a Range Rover Sport and an Audi RS6 Avant, with both vehicles costing £120,000. This brings his total car collection to around £4.7 million.

If that wasn't enough, Haaland has splashed out on expensive watches and his prized watch is the Rolex Daytona “John Mayer” model, which is described by industry experts as the “Holy Grail” of modern Rolex pieces.

It features a solid 18ct yellow gold case and bracelet, with a piercing green dial that is often referred to as the “silver dial” or the “John Mayer” dial. It would now raise around £1 million after being discontinued.

Haaland also managed to acquire a Patek Nautilus 5711, one of the brand's most sought-after models. Indeed, Patek watches usually require a long waiting list to get your hands on a piece, and this particular watch has stopped making in 2021.

Now he's set to rake in even more cash, the Norwegian may well be tempted to make even more extravagant purchases to celebrate after signing his new contract.
