The 39-year-old forward's first goal was a spectacular effort, he cut in from the right and unleashed a powerful strike into the top left corner.
He then scored his second goal with another impressive left-footed shot into the top right corner following a precise pass inside the box.
Earlier in the game, Ronaldo almost scored from a long-range free kick that hit the post.
His overall performance silenced critics who had recently questioned his place in Portugal starting lineup for the next Europe championship.
Among the doubters was Arsenal legend Paul Mersonwho suggested Ronaldo should be benched for the group stage.
Portugal the head coach, Roberto Martinezhas however reaffirmed his faith in Ronaldo skills and experience.
“Tomorrow we have Ruben [Dias]Pepe and Cristiano. It's a perfect match to give minutes to the starters, but they will have minutes,”Martinez said at a pre-match press conference.

“It's good to keep our feet on the ground but with our heads in the sky, dreaming of the EURO. We are dreaming and we are ready,” he told state radio RTP.
Reflecting on the team's potential to replicate their 2016 triumph, he said: “We have the talent, but as I often say, talent is worked on, nothing is given. And the team is ready to work.”
