P.portuguese star >Cristiano Ronaldo spoke once again of its possible retirement as a professional player after setting a new record for international victories in men's soccer Friday.

Portugal beat Poland 5-1 with two goals from CR7including an acrobatic kick, to seal the Portuguese nation's place in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League.

After the match, Ronaldo, 39 years old insisted his focus remains on having fun as a footballer, despite the specter of retirement looming ever closer.

“I just want to enjoy football,” Ronaldo said. “Planning for my retirement if it's going to happen, in one or two years, I don't know. I'll be 40 soon.

“I really want to enjoy while being motivated, to continue. The day I no longer feel motivated, I will retire,” added the current Al Nassr player.
