Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are among the clubs set to attend TransferRoom's Deal Day on Monday. Some of the biggest decision-makers in football will gather in Madrid for a day of transfer negotiations, which could speed up some high-profile transfers.

Many of Europe's top clubs subscribe to the online platform TransferRoom. CEO Jonas Ankersen created it in 2017 to bring more transparency to the transfer market, providing a space for clubs around the world to discuss deals.

Premier League clubs United, Liverpool and Manchester City will be in attendance at TransferRoom's Deal Day in Madrid on Monday, with key European rivals Bayern and Juventus also set to feature.

Clubs are hoping face-to-face talks will help them speed up negotiations to improve their squads before the start of the domestic season later this month. Ankersen says weeks of discussions could take place in a single day.

A select group of trusted agents are also invited, with clubs able to approach individuals who represent their targets.

Two deals to watch out for could involve United's interest in Bayern duo Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. The Red Devils are understood to have made a joint bid for the defensive pair. Both clubs will be present at the deal and United's new sporting director Dan Ashworth is known to be interested, according to TransferRoom, Express Sport understand.

Reinforcements to Erik ten Hag's backline have been a priority for the United hierarchy this summer, with Leny Yoro already signed from Lille for a reported £52million. However, a new defensive midfielder could also arrive at Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window.

The Red Devils bosses could be able to begin negotiations for a signing for the position on Monday.

Meanwhile, discussions at Liverpool could focus on accelerating plans to sign a new centre-back and a striker. Arne Slot has been patient this summer, carefully considering the players he inherited from Jurgen Klopp before deciding what kind of deal is needed.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with several wingers, including Newcastle's Anthony Gordon, but it remains uncertain whether Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz will remain at Anfield beyond the summer.

“During the summer transfer window, time is of the essence,” said TransferRoom CEO Ankersen. “It’s an opportunity for clubs and agents to conduct weeks of global transfer negotiations in a single day. Every handshake can seal a decisive move.”

“Clubs and agents will conduct direct negotiations through a series of one-on-one meetings and expand their network with exclusive networking opportunities at a crucial time, so they can stay ahead of the competition and close deals quickly.”
