Arsenal will be desperate to find the missing piece of the puzzle in this summer's transfer window as they hope to finally dethrone Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table. The north London giants have missed out on the trophy to the Citizens in the last two seasons.

Arsenal completed the signing of Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori for £42million earlier this week.

But they could now be on the verge of losing young wonderkid Chido Obi Martin to Manchester United, with the 16-year-old striker reportedly accepting a move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils suffered a major blow at the weekend when new defender Leny Yoro was forced off the pitch with an injury during his side's pre-season friendly against Arsenal in the United States.

And United boss Erik ten Hag will be concerned about that development after lamenting his misfortune with injury problems last season.

Chelsea have once again been prolific in the transfer market, while Liverpool are yet to complete any deals.

Express Sport brings you all the latest transfer news from the Premier League and beyond, so follow our live blog below.

Liverpool rejects offers

Liverpool have reportedly rejected offers for defender Sepp van den Berg and midfielder Wataru Endo in the last 48 hours, with the players attracting interest from PSV Eindhoven and Marseille respectively, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Chelsea in advanced talks

Chelsea are in advanced talks with Atletico Madrid to sell Conor Gallagher, according to football.london.

The two clubs are close to reaching an agreement, although personal terms have yet to be agreed between Madrid and Gallagher.

Chelsea are reportedly willing to cash in on the offer for the midfielder, whose contract at Stamford Bridge has less than 12 months left. The 24-year-old is yet to return to club duty after featuring for England at Euro 2024 and will not join his Blues team-mates on their tour of the United States.
