Kylian Mbappe (pictured in orange) was spotted offering his jersey to a ball boy while on the bench
Kylian Mbappe showed that his move to Real Madrid had not gone to his head in the win over Real Sociedad. Mbappe demonstrated exactly what kind of person he is by offering his match-worn shirt to a ball boy after being substituted.
The Frenchman, who made the summer transfer of the year by moving to the Spanish capital after letting his contract expire at PSG, has signed a deal until 2029, linking up with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. Despite being one of the best footballers in the world and now playing for the Champions League holders, Mbappe showed a generous side after being substituted in his last game.
Ahead of Real's win over Sociedad on Saturday, where the forward scored a crucial second goal, Mbappe was seen chatting with a ball boy before the game began. The youngster is believed to have asked for his shirt. When he was substituted late in the game, he did not react negatively as his peers often do.
Instead, he took the time to interact with the young supporter, who approached him on the bench to ask for his jersey. Mbappe happily obliged, leaving the ball boy delighted as he ran off with a wide smile, clutching the coveted jersey.
Thanks to Mbappe's goal, Real Madrid won 2-0 and remain unbeaten this season. They currently sit third, four points behind FC Barcelona, who have a perfect record with five wins in five games, the Mirror reports.
Mbappe's start to the season in Madrid has been somewhat eventful, however. The French sensation faced criticism after a 1-1 draw with RCD Mallorca earlier this season, which followed his goal against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup.

He then had a spell without football against Real Valladolid and Las Palmas before bouncing back with a quickfire double against Real Betis, seemingly rediscovering the form that made him one of the most fearsome strikers in football. His goal against Sociedad marked his third in two games, and he will be aiming to continue that prolific run as the new Champions League season gets underway.
Regardless, it is clear that Mbappe is keeping his feet on the ground despite his newfound success as a Galactico.
