Pep Guardiola revealed that he had not spoken with Abdukodir Khusanov after the new boy from Manchester City suffered difficult beginnings in the 3-1 victory against Chelsea.

The 20 -year -old did not finish his move of 34 million pounds Sterling only from the RC objective earlier this week as the first arrival of the January transfer window.

But Khusanov was thrown directly into the background after being awarded against Chelsea during a crunchy meeting at the Etihad stadium.

And the nerves of the Uzbekistan international played a role in the offer of the opener's blues just three minutes from the game, while his head back to Ederson was intercepted by Nicolas Jackson and finished by Noni Madueke.

The young central defender found the hard to do because he was reserved a minute later for a wild slit on Cole Palmer, which was checked by Var for a potential red card before the game.

Khusanov finally found his feet, although Guardiola chose to remove the defender only a few minutes in the second half and replaced him with John Stones.

When he was asked if he had spoken to his new signature after his mistake, Guardiola confirmed that he had not yet discussed the incident with his player.

“He doesn't speak English so I didn't tell him. He will go well,” said Guardiola. β€œHe had only one or two training sessions.

“I didn't want to push John [Stones] Back to an injury – with Wednesday's match [against Club Brugge]. “”

City recovered from their defeat in the middle of the week against PSG by bouncing against Chelsea, with goals from Josko Gvardiol, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden by tending to the hosts a deserved victory.

Another beginner, 67 million pounds sterling, signing Omar Marmoush, also made a goal for the offside while Guardiola presented his new arrivals.

But that had little effect at the end while the champions continued their recovery to climb the first four, Chelsea falling to the sixth.

Guardiola praised his team and fans inside Etihad to stay together and

“The players were together. It was massively important. Any player can make a mistake,” he added. “Fans always support new players. He's so young. He will learn.”

The match arrived too early for the young Brazilian Vitor Reis, who arrived for 30 million pounds from Palmeiras earlier this week. The 19 -year -old was on the bench.
